Rates are
· Quoted and invoiced in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without prior notification.Changes refer to government imposed VAT rate changes or exchange rate fluctuations beyond the control of Newmark Hotels
· Inclusive of 15% VAT & 1% Tourism Levy
· Subject to providing the source/origin of bookings as well as the origin of guests at the time of booking
· Per room per night (unless otherwise stated) and inclusive of breakfast
· A maximum of 2 adults can be accommodated per room
CHILD & EXTRA BED POLICY
Child minding service is done by the hotel staff – available upon request and can be arranged at an additional cost a minimum of 24 hours’ notice
No child-minding facilities are available at the lodges/reserves
The words “under the age” means any age up to and excluding the specified age. Once the child has reached the specified age, they are considered to no longer be “under the age” and would qualify for the prescribed rate
Generally classified as:
Infant: Under the age of 2
Child: Between the ages of 2 and 11
Adult: 12 years and older are considered adults and changeable at adult rate dependant on sharing on own room
· 0 to under the age of 2 years: complimentary stay in a cot – only 1 cot per room – subject to availability
· One set of inter-leading rooms – subject to availability
· Extra beds cannot be accommodated. No child rates applicable, accommodation is charged per room per night
No provisional bookings for the Christmas/New Year period (25 Dec – 05 Jan) and Mining Indaba without pre-payments paid at time of reservation – please refer to peak payment and cancellation terms

Terms & Conditions
All Seasons
• All FIT bookings will be held on a provisional basis for fourteen (14) days, after which a 20% pre-payment is required, unless a
booking is made within thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival in which case full payment is required within forty- eight (48) hours to secure the reservation
• All other extras must be settled with the Hotel prior to departure
Peak Season
• All FIT PEAK SEASON bookings will be held on a provisional basis for fourteen (14) days, after which a 20% pre-payment is required, unless a booking is made within ninety (90) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival in which case the 20% pre-payment will be non-refundable. A further 30% non-refundable prepayment is required sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival. Full payment is required within thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival. Failure to receive this payment will result in the rooms being released
• All other extras must be settled with the Hotel prior to departure
All Seasons
• Should the reservation be cancelled less than seven (7) days prior to arrival or should you fail to arrive on the day, or should an in-
house guest check out prior to the guaranteed departure date, the hotel has the right to charge the full value of the accommodation or part thereof, depending on the occupancy and availability of the rooms on the night/s in question, unless the hotel will have been able to resell the room
• 31+ days prior to arrival: No Cancellation Fees
• 30-08 days prior to arrival: 20% Cancellation Fees
• 07-00 days prior to arrival: 100% Cancellation Fees
Peak Season
• Should the reservation be cancelled less than forty-five (45) days prior to arrival, should you fail to arrive on the day, or should an
in-house guest check out prior to the guaranteed departure date, the hotel has the right to charge the full value of the
accommodation or part thereof, depending on the occupancy and availability of the rooms on the night/s in question, unless the
hotel will have been able to resell the room
• 46+ days prior to arrival: No Cancellation Fees
• 45-00 days prior to arrival: 100% Cancellation fees
