Aquila Private Game Reserve is a child friendly facility under strict adult supervision:

under age 4 - no charge;
between age 4 and 11 years – 50% of the rate for an adult; and
12 years and older – full price.

Aquila’s rates are quoted per person sharing, however, 50% of the rate shall apply to a single person in relation to overnight packages only.

Check-in time is from 14h00 and check-out time is at 10h00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed with Aquila Private Game Reserve, in which event a late check-out fee will be payable.

Private safaris can be arranged at an additional cost and any optional extras shall be at an additional cost.

Maximum weight restriction for quad bike and horseback safaris is 95kg per person and no children under the age of 16 years are allowed on these safaris.

All rates are quoted in ZAR (SA Rand) and included value-added tax and is quoted per person.
All rates are subject to availability of accommodation. Only one offer may be used on any booking and offers cannot be combined with any other offer or discount.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be done in writing and receipt thereof acknowledged by Aquila Private Game Reserve’s sales office as a valid cancellation and shall be subject to the following terms and conditions:
50% of the rate will be charged if a written cancellation notice is received within 15 - 45 days before the expected date of arrival;
100% cancellation fee without a refund if a written cancellation notice is received within within 0 - 14 days before the expected date of arrival; and no refunds shall be paid for any unused accommodation and/or services.
No shows: 100% charge of the booking will be payable and bookings cancelled one day before or on the date of arrival will be considered a no show.

Late arrival / early departures: 100% charge for the total stay booked.

Group Bookings (10 persons or more): a non-refundable deposit may be requested and a specially negotiated cancellation policy will apply to any bookings which exceeds 25% of Aquila Private Game Reserve’s total capacity (day Trip and overnight).

Porterage is included in the contracted rates.

CHECK-IN AND OUT TIMES:
Please refer to the rate sheet for overnight itineraries and specific day trip and activity programme times.

All cancellations must be done in writing and receipt thereof acknowledged by reservations as a valid cancellation and shall be subject to the following terms and conditions:

* No Shows: 100% of full amount payable
* Cancellations within 0 - 7 days of date of arrival: 100% payable
* Cancellations within 8 - 21 days of date of arrival: 50% of full amount payable
* Cancellations within 22 - 30 days of date of arrival: 30% of full amount payable
* No refunds for late check-in / arrival or early check-out.
* No refunds for services not used.
* Please note that all refunds are subject to commission and/or bank charges
* Group bookings: a non-refundable deposit may be requested and a specially negotiated cancellation policy will apply to any bookings which exceeds 25% of our capacity.

2- AND 3-NIGHT PACKAGES

* Stays of 2 nights may substitute one game drive with a complimentary horseback safari.
* A 3 night stay may substitute the game drive with a complimentary horseback or quad bike safari.
* All 2- and 3-night guests enjoy free spa access to make use of the communal services and facilities - treatments are optional at an additional cost.
* All of the abovementioned inclusions are subject to availability.
