All reservation cancellations must be received in writing
Cancellations made within 30 days of date of arrival, 50% of full accommodation will be charged
Cancellations made within 7 days of date of arrival, 100% of full accommodation will be charged

RATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

* Pilot/Guide rate is R 1 770 per person per night and subject to availability;
* Rates are subject to change on review of production and volume booked with the Red Carnation Hotel Collection South Africa
* The rates include South African value added tax (15%) and include a 1% tourism levy per room per night;
* Rates for the Luxury Room, Deluxe Room, Suite and River Side Supreme Suite is quoted per room per night.
* Rates for Cederberg House and Koro Lodge Private Villa are quoted per unit per night;
* Bushmans Kloof reserves the right to amend the quoted rates accordingly should the government amend the VAT percentage or introduce further taxes or levies during the duration of this contract;
* Kindly note that service charges are not included in the accommodation rates;
* Accurate guest information including all special requests, full and correct spelling of names and the correct salutations for the guests to be provided to the hotel 7 days prior to the guests’ arrival;
* All reservations are subject to the cancellation policy as stated herein;
* No duplicate bookings will be held in the system;
* Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Retreat reserves the right to limit the number of rooms available;
* We reserve the right to release accommodation bookings held should prepayment not reach Lodge Reservations prior to the deposit deadlines as stipulated;
* We also reserve the right to request payment directly from clients on arrival, should payment not reach us before the specified date;
* The lodge has a strict no pets policy.

MINIMUM LENGH OF STAY
• Minimum 3-night stay during Peak / Festive Season (20 December – 05 January);

CHILDRENS POLICY

* Children aged 8+ are welcome at a surcharge when sharing with 2 full paying adults;
* The Niven Deluxe Room can accommodate 2 children within the 2nd bedroom and this room has 2 separate bathrooms.
* Koro Lodge open to children of all ages.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

* Check in time for the Main Lodge at 14h00 and Koro Lodge at 15h30;
* Check out time for Main Lodge at 12h00 and Koro Lodge at 10h30;
* Please note our gate closes at 17h00;
* Subject to availability, we will endeavour to accommodate late departures without additional charge;

PLEASE NOTE

* There is NO MOBILE PHONE RECEPTION from Clanwilliam to Bushmans Kloof and no mobile phone reception on property.
* Service charges are not included in the accommodation rates.
* The lodge has a strict no pets policy.

GUARANTEE / DEPOSIT POLICY
HIGH SEASON
06 JAN ‘22 – 30 APR ‘22 & 01 SEPT ‘22 – 19 DEC ‘22 & LOW SEASON 01 MAY ’22 – 31 AUG ‘22
* Provisional reservations will be held for 21 days (should the arrival date be 90 days or more out), after which time the reservation is either released back to Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Retreat for resale, or the reservation is confirmed by paying a 25% deposit based on the total reservation value to secure the booking;
* Provisional reservations will be held for 14 days (should the arrival date be 43-89 days out), after which time the reservation is either released back to Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Retreat for resale, or the reservation is confirmed by paying a 25% deposit based on the total reservation value to secure the booking;
* Balance of Payment is due 42 days prior to arrival by bank transfer

PEAK SEASON
20 DEC ’22 – 05 JAN ‘23
* Minimum length of stay of 3 nights over Festive Season required
* A 25% non-refundable deposit is required by the 30th of April 2022 after which time the
reservation will be released back to Bushmans Kloof for resale should the deposit not be
received. Should the hotel receive an enquiry over similar dates held which is able to secure
the booking by form of deposit prior to this deadline, the deposit will be required within 48
hours to secure the space.
* Balance of Payment is due by 30 September 2022;
* Should the reservation be made after 1 October 2022, 100% deposit of the total booking value is required within 7 days of booking in order to guarantee the reservation.
* Deposit and Payment balance terms also apply to account holders;
