Single Room Policy

An allocation of rooms/suites is kept for single travellers where a supplement will not apply. These rooms/suites are subject to availability.
A supplement of 50% of the adult rate will be applied if the single rooms/suites are not available.
Single supplements will not be wavered when a booking involves one of the MORE Experiences.
Triple Rooms & Interconnecting Rooms

Lelapa

1 room at Lelapa have a sleeper couch which are suitable for triple rooms and booking of these rooms is subject to availability
The rate for the third person in a triple room is 50% of the per person sharing rate (maximum 3 pax)
3rd person sharing will be restricted to children under the age of 16.
Four family suites where the second bedroom has two single beds for children only (under 16 years of age). There is an additional sleeper couch in the family suites for a 3rd child.
Dithaba Lodge

Has one sleeper couch only to be used for child if the lodge is booked out exclusively
Kopano Lodge

There are no triple or interconnecting rooms available at Kopano Lodge
Child Policy

Lelapa Lodge

**Children of all ages are welcome. For safety reasons, children aged 5 years and younger cannot participate on game drives and gaming activities.

A family drive is offered for younger children, after breakfast.

Children aged 0 - 5 years stay free of charge
Children aged 6 -15 years pay 50% of the adult sharing rate
Children aged 16 years and older pay the full adult rate
If two children under 16 are in a room on their own, the first child is charged for at the full adult per person sharing rate

Dithaba Lodge

Children are only accepted if the lodge is booked exclusively. If so, tnen same policy as above ** applies.
Kopano Lodge

We regret that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 16 years.
Children aged 16 years and older will be accommodated in their own room and will pay full adult per person sharing rate.

Cancellation Policy

31 - 60 days prior to arrival 25% cancellation fee on the value of the booking
0 - 30 days prior to arrival 100% cancellation fee on the value of the booking

Deposit Policy

For all bookings made within 45 days of travel

Full payment Is required within 48 hours of your booking. This payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card (Master/Visa).

For all bookings made more than 45 days of travel

A 50% deposit Is required within 48 hours of your booking and the balance 30 days prior to arrival. This payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card (Master/Visa).

Check-in is from 14h00 and check-out is by 11h00.

STAY 4 PAY 3
Come and stay at any one of our camps for 4 nights and only pay for 3.

HONEYMOON OFFER
For newlyweds on their honeymoon! Spend 3 nights at any of our luxury camps and one of the happy couple gets 50% of their accommodation rate.


RETURN GUESTS
Repeat guests will be gifted 10% off their accommodation rate
Valid for repeat guests who have visited the lodge within the last 5 years.
Excludes travelling companions who have not stayed at Madikwe Safari Lodge before.
Can be combined with other promotions and specials.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

There is a drinks package available at R695 per person per day.
Park fees are charged as below:
• MGR Entrance fee (child) – R 80 per child
• MGR Entrance fee (adult) – R 180 per adult
• Guest Conservation levy (child) before 01.03.2023 – R 82.50 per child per day
• Guest Conservation levy (adult) before 01.03.2023 – R 165 per adult per day
• Guest Conservation levy (child) after 01.03.2023 – R 95 per child per day
• Guest Conservation levy (adult) after 01.03.2023 – R 190 per adult per day
All park fees, entrance fees and conservation fees are subject to change and at an additional cost.
Additional fees are charged if arriving by air.
Flights into Madikwe can be arranged at your request through our reservations department.
We are able to cater for Kosher dietary requirements but please note that there will be a surcharge of R350 per person per day.
There is a corkage fee of R500 per room per night should you choose to bring your own alcohol.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Bookings can only be made 45 days prior to arrival.
Rates are for South African Residents or SADC Residents only and a South African ID or SADC passport will be required.
Rates are subject to change at the discretion of Madikwe Safari Lodge.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking confirmation.
Balance payment must be received no later than 14 days prior to travel.
Cancellations from 07 -14 days prior to travel with incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Bookings made 14 days before arrival will require full pre-payment upon confirmation.

Children's Policy
Madikwe Safari Lodge (Lelapa Lodge):
Children of all ages are welcome.
For safety reasons, children aged 5 and younger are not permitted on game drives and safari activities. A family game drive is offered for younger children after breakfast.
A private vehicle can be arranged, subject to availability, at an additional cost of R5500 per day upon request and will not be limited to occupants over 6 years old.
Children 0-5 stay free of charge.
Children 6-15 are charged at 50% of adult per person sharing rate.
Children 16 and older are charged at full adult per person sharing rate or at a full single supplement if staying in their own room.
If two children under 16 are in a room on their own, one child is charged for at the full adult per person sharing rate and the second child will be charged according to their age.
Please note that a maximum of 4 people is permitted in a room with the exception of an additional child under 2 years old (a cot will be provided).

Kopano & Dithaba Lodge:

We regret we are unable to accommodate children under 16 years of age.
Children 16 years or older will be accommodated in their own suite and are charged at the full adult per person sharing rate or single supplement rate.
Children are only accepted at Kopano and Dithaba Lodge if booked out exclusively - then Lelapa Lodge policy applies
