Terms and Conditions
• Rates quoted per room per night single or double occupancy.
• All rates are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR)
• Rates are inclusive of Breakfast VAT @ 15%
• Rates exclude 1% Tourism Levy
• Rates are subject to change in accordance with exchange rate fluctuations and/or government tax where applicable
• Rooms will be kept until 19h00 on arrival date.
• Check-in time is 14h00 on day of arrival
• Check-out time is 10h00 on day of departure
• If rooms are available, a late check-out can be arranged at a nominal charge.
• Full prepayment required


Children's Policy:

Children aged 12 years and younger (maximum one child per room) will be accommodated free of charge on a Bed Only basis if sharing with one or two adults, but will be charged for meals. Children occupying their own rooms will be charged the full adult rate. Subject to availability of family rooms;
children aged 0-2, no charge.
Children aged 3-12, 50% of the applicable rate per meal per day.
This policy does not apply to room service meals.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Rooms will be kept until 18h00 on day of arrival unless otherwise assured or guaranteed.
2.2. Full pre-payment of the accommodation amount is required in order to secure your booking.
2.3. Check-in is from 14h00 and check-out is by 10h00.
2.4. Cancellation Policy per Booking:
a. Cancellations – for two or less rooms – within 48 hours prior to arrival will be subject to a full cancellation fee of the value of the accommodation booked.
b. Cancellations – for three to nine rooms – within seven days prior to arrival will be subject to a full cancellation fee of the value of the accommodation booked.
c. Cancellations – ten rooms or more – tour cancellation policy in 1 above will apply.
2.5. Guaranteed reservations i.e in respect of which full payment has been received or alternative guarantees are in place with extended payment facilities at the hotel, will be held for first night only, after which the accommodation will be released if not taken up by then.

Our sister hotel, The Portswood is 5 minutes away from us and our guests are welcome to use their hotel pool as well if they feel like a change of scenery.

The Clipper Restaurant has an all-day dining menu. We prepare food using the freshest and finest ingredients. We have a wide selection of dishes including starters, salads, sandwiches, light meals, pastas, main courses and desserts. We aim to provide great quality meals at very reasonable prices. The menu is varied with influences from around the globe. We try and create some ideas that are new and different and pleasing to ones palate. There are regular dishes on the menu and of course the “Chefs” special. Chef JP has created a truly amazing menu especially for the Clipper Restaurant and should not be missed. Join us in the relaxed and elegant atmosphere in which we offer a buffet breakfast and à la carte menu. Light meals are also available on the terrace from 10h00 – 12h00.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES FOR UP TO 150 DELEGATES

We have 2 conference venues and separate boardroom which all contain whiteboards, flip charts, a DVD player, a screen, a data projector and video conferencing. Any other AV equipment can be arranged at an additional cost.
