Inverdoorn Game Reserve

ON THE ROAD
Only two and a half hours outside of Cape Town, one of South Africa's biggest and busiest cities, the trip to Inverdoorn is an easy one packed with interesting sightseeing opportunities. En route to the lodge guests can stop at one of several wine farms to sample some of the region's best wine; stock up on cheese and olives and enjoy local food at one of the many farm stalls along the way. For those not wishing to self-drive, the Cape Town office can arrange transfers to and from the city.

Inverdoorn Game Reserve is situated in the Ceres Karoo.

    Take the N1 to Worcester through the tunnel and turn off on the R43 (Ceres) just before Worcester.
    Go to Ceres, drive straight through Ceres towards Touwsriver (R46).
    As you leave Ceres check the speedo 43 km tar road after Ceres, then you will get dirt road with Calvinia & Sutherland on the sign board (R355/356).
    Continue on this dirt road for 5.7 km. Take the right turn-off (R356) to Sutherland.
    Drive 7.4 km until the fork, take the left towards Sutherland and 6 km further you will see Inverdoorn on your left.
